The monks of Subiaco Abbey are Benedictines and trace their monastic history back to the 5th century Italy. The Subiaco Abbey has a guest retreat facility, church, inner court, east park, living quarters for the monks and a college prep boarding/day school for boys. It is a educational, fun and rich in history. In the 1800’s coal was discovered in Logan County and the rest is history. With photos and tributes to local coal miners, it is a fun history lesson for all ages. Tours are available by calling 479-963-6463. Be sure to stop by the functioning blacksmith shop and see how it all worked.

The Cove Lake Recreation Area wraps around the shores of a 160-acre mountain lake near the 2,700 foot tall Mount Magazine. Popular activities include swimming, fishing, hiking, water skiing and scenic drives. A boat ramp is available and you can also rent a boat and other equipment. The lake has catfish, large mouth bass, bluegill, sunfish, crappie, and perch.

Established in 2014 on the West side of the town square. The Eiffel Tower was a gift to the city. A 7 foot two tiered water feature with fountain was added to the 18 foot tower to become the 25 foot tall Eiffel Tower. Notable fact: The tower is painted with the same paint (brand and color) as the Eiffel Tower in Paris France! There are 3 different shades of brown paint and it was donated by the manufacturer from France.
